Giorgione’s hometown celebrates its charming and somehow mysterious artist with an extraordinary exhibition. According to the most reliable estimates, the year 2010 will mark the fifth centennial since Giorgione’s birth and Castelfranco Veneto, which already hosts his masterpiece, the Pala, and one of his very few frescoes, is pursuing a project (also supported by various local institutions) to inaugurate a Museum in the house where the artist once had his workshop and there organize the exhibition under the supervision of a team of experts in the painter’s repertory.
